Information is a primary need in dealing with COVID-19. In this case, local media one of the closest sources information and controls problems communities, especially during pandemic. For reason, study aims to analyze how journalists as communicators mass communication produce messages overcome infodemic COVID-19 This used Schoemaker Reese's hierarchy influence model dissect process producing for journalists. employed qualitative methods through in-depth interviews interactive analysis. The findings revealed that news pandemic, experienced various obstacles. These obstacles were spread across three levels: first, personal level, which related journalists' perception lack understanding second routine practice including verification stuttering technology use. Third, organization level guaranteeing welfare safety journalists, not optimal. recommends solution integrating production welfare, still classic problem Indonesia.
